On rally day, crews will complete two loops of three special stages, with an average stage length of just over 14 kilometres. The rally will conclude with a slightly shorter special stage, run only once, which will be decisive in the fight for points in the Latvian Rally Championship, Latvian Rally Cup, Rallysprint Championship, and the Historic Rally Car Cup, as part of their second round of the season.

“As every year, we have once again worked very carefully on the selection of roads for the special stages. Rally Sarma 2026 will offer the true essence of Gulbene region roads, providing an exciting challenge for both competitors and spectators. The stages will include a bit of the old, a bit of the new, some classic sections and a few surprises,” says Vilhelms Sniedzāns, Rally Sarma Director, commenting on the stage selection.

More detailed information regarding the special stage timetable can be found in the recently published Rally Guide, which also includes the planned route map. Competitors and spectators are encouraged to book accommodation in advance, with available options listed at visitgulbene.lv.

“The hospitable and experienced entrepreneurs of the Gulbene region are ready to offer both accommodation and leisure opportunities during the rally weekend. With their culinary talents, they look forward to welcoming every visitor to the region,” adds Normunds Mazūrs, Chairman of the Gulbene Regional Municipality Council.
